Dr. Ratil H. Ashique is an accomplished Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at East West University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. A dynamic researcher in renewable energy, smart grids, and power electronics, Dr. Ashique has dedicated his career to advancing sustainable technologies and nurturing future innovators.
With a Ph.D. from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (QS WUR 181; Subject ranking 106) under the grant from Ministry of Science and Technology, Malaysia and postdoctoral research with a research grant from the prestigious Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), UK at the University of Sheffield (QS WUR 105; QS Subject ranking: 136). Dr. Ashique has made significant contributions to power converter design, electric vehicles, and energy management systems. He has led and collaborated on cutting-edge research projects funded by renowned organizations such as BANBEIS and the Ministry of Science and Technology, Bangladesh.
A prolific author with over 35+ high-impact journal articles and conference papers, Dr. Ashique boasts a combined impact factor exceeding 100. His research has garnered international acclaim, reflected in an h-index of 19 and more than 1500 citations.
Beyond research, Dr. Ashique is a Senior Member of IEEE, actively contributing to the global engineering community. He has mentored IEEE student branches, chaired technical sessions at international conferences, and served as a track co-chair for major events. His commitment to education is evident in his over 14 years of teaching experience, inspiring students to explore cutting-edge innovations in energy systems.
